Boom mower GHA 700 S on JCB
The GHA 700 S boom mower has been developed to be mounted on the rear of the JCB Kommunal 4000er carrier vehicle and can adapt to the most difficult conditions thanks to its flexibility. The boom can impress with a swivel range of about 270°. This means that it is possible to work to the right and left. Thanks to the integrated transverse displacement, the boom can be moved from the center by 700 mm to the right and by 500 mm to the left. Depending on the position of the cross travel, this allows us to swivel the arm forward into the operator's field of vision.
The tank system with the oil tank, the hydraulic pump for the working tools and the control block for the cylinder functions are located at the rear of the carrier vehicle in the rear lift. The hydraulic cylinders are supplied with oil from the carrier vehicle (LS pump). The boom functions are controlled electrically and proportionally by a single-lever joystick. Several functions are possible simultaneously.
The machine is parked towards the rear, which allows an unrestricted view to the front during road travel.
